Step 3: Select your Integration Method

We provide three specialized integration methods designed to align with your unique technical needs and business goals.

  • Backend-to-Backend Integration: Ideal for companies that already have their system for capturing user information, such as ID and selfies, and prefer to process this information through a backend-to-backend call. Learn more about backend-to-backend integration here.
  • SDK Integration: We provide a fully customisable SDK that enables the capture of ID, Selfie, and Proof of Address (PoA) as required. IDWise SDK is available in two versions, each designed for varying levels of customisation:
    • Simple SDK: Ideal for full IDV onboarding. IDWise SDK manages all aspects of the IDV onboarding process, seamlessly handling each step and then handing control back to the hosting application upon completion of the onboarding flow.
    • Dynamic SDK: Ideal for scenarios when customers want to show custom screens between IDV steps. for example, you can decide when to initiate each step and apply your business logic to the outcomes of these steps.

To start the integration with any of the above methods you need the following information:

  • Flow ID/Journey definition ID: This is a unique identifier for the flow you wish to initiate. You can obtain this Flow ID from the Flow Builder portal.
  • Client Key/ Server Key: These keys can be generated through the IDWise Admin portal.
