Theme Designer

Customize light and dark theme colors, UI text, button styling, and languages used across IDWise SDK verification flows.

Use Theme Designer to customize the colors, text, and languages shown in your IDWise verification UI across all SDKs.

Getting started

  1. Open Theme Designer in IDWise Studio, or select Theme Designer from the left navigation.
  2. Select Sandbox or Live to choose which environment to customize.
💡

Start in Sandbox to experiment without affecting production. Switch to Live when you are ready to publish your branding changes.

Customize your theme

Select a screen from the left panel to preview it, then use the right panel to adjust the following:

  • Shared text — Select Update Text to edit headings, instructions, labels, and other UI content shared across verification flows.
  • Theme mode — Toggle between Light theme and Dark theme. Each mode has its own color settings, so you can configure both appearances separately.
  • Button colors — Set the background, stroke, and text color for Primary and Secondary buttons using hex values.
  • Button corner radius — Use the slider to adjust from sharp corners to fully rounded.
  • Text colors — Set hex values for headings and labels. Ensure they remain readable against your background and button colors.

Theme changes apply to the verification UI used by all IDWise SDKs. All changes preview in real time.

Customize UI content and languages

Use Theme Designer to manage the text and language options shown to users during verification.

  1. Select the screen you want to edit from the preview panel.
  2. Select Update Text.
  3. Adjust the UI content for headings, instructions, labels, and button text.
  4. Add or update languages for the verification UI.
  5. Preview the flow to confirm the translated content fits the screen and matches your brand voice.

Review each language before publishing to ensure the instructions are clear and complete for your users.

Publish your changes

  1. Select Preview Sandbox to review the full verification flow with your branding changes.
  2. Select Publish to apply the theme to the selected environment.
⚠️

Publishing in Live updates your production verification flow immediately. Test thoroughly in Sandbox first.
